Republique is two spaces in one, and you need to try both!
The casual bakery, cafe, and bar is in the front while the rear offers formal dining with a nightly-changing menu. Covering breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch, and dinner République is decidely French, with occasional American and Asian influences. (e.g. Kimchi fried rice)
Margarta Manzke oversees the bakery and bread program.
The inspired 1928 space was built by Charlie Chaplin and housed the OG La Brea Bakery location and then Campanille.
