The pasta shop’s hailed as having some of the best lunch sandwiches in SF (Warning, the hoagies are massive(!) – definitely a ‘1/3 for now, more for later’ situation). We further appreciate their seasonal salad and soup selection :).

Of course, the elephant in the room is the daily handmade pasta, featured at nearby Flour+Water restaurant and next door at Penny Roma. If you didn’t get a reservation or don’t feel like dining out, the Pasta Shop offers pasta kits with the same fresh handmade pastas plus meats, veg, and broth/sauces for quick at-home assembly. There’s also artisan cheeses, specialty pantry items, and more… (dare we mention the dark chocolate budino… for the occasional extra dose of antioxidants! 😉 )
