Locally-grown and globally-informed contemporary cuisine. EDGE is the restaurant of Stone Edge Farm Estate Vineyards and Winery in downtown Sonoma, located steps off the square in a Victorian home exquisitely renovated by owners Leslie and Mac McQuown. EDGE has its own energy-independent, carbon-negative farm dedicated to restoring the land and leaving the earth healthier than before.
Each week, a new prix fixe tasting menu is designed around Stone Edge Estate wine pairings and fresh seasonal ingredients from the farm. Executive Chef Fiorella Butron is not only a certified sommelier but also is trained in Ayurvedic cooking. She brings creative flavors celebrating her Peruvian heritage and experiences cooking and eating around the world.
Rooted in an ethos of healthy self-sustainability, EDGE is situated a mere 3 miles from its own dedicated organic farm where over one hundred varieties of heirloom vegetables, fruit, olives and olive oil, herbs, eggs, honey and grapes are grown — all per sustainable, regenerative practices. Owls, bats, and chickens provide natural pest control, and restaurant compost is used as soil amendment alongsite cover crops and growing protocol to enrich the soil. EDGE is dedicated to zero-waste practices. The farm, orchard, and vineyards supply nearly all of the restaurant’s produce, while proteins are sourced from local ranchers and Bay Area fishermen.
